What are your favorite green veggies for Thanksgiving?

I love peas, especially when I mix them up with my mashed potatoes on my plate. But I know they aren’t everyone’s cup of tea.

The first thanksgiving likely included deer and cod. Asparagus in context is hardly a departure from an orthodoxy nobody cares about.

FWIW, I always do prime rib. Fight me.

Yes, because I don’t love green beans, I don’t think the family would eat zucchini or peas, and broccoli shrinks when you cook it so it’s hard to prepare enough for a huge crowd. My SIL makes an awesome green salad, so salad is already covered.

I like roasted Brussels sprouts dressed with a mustard maple sauce. Roast them until they are getting crispy. It reheats pretty well too.
