If Union's 06/07s hang on to 2nd place, they have to also finish better than the 2nd place team in the Ohio Valley conference, and Ohio Valley plays in the Spring so we won't know for awhile. I would give them a half a spot based on where they are now. |

| This is Player Pool Per Area by population Vs. the amount of ECNL Clubs. |
This is more information than I want to know, but where did you copy pasta this from and are you including all ECNL clubs RL and NL or just NL ones? Data should reflect both IMO, and shouldn't include baltimore or philly |

To summarize, I would say St. Louis does the best for what it is working with (which matches D1 recruiting numbers) and SoCal is 2nd which ironically matches it's numbers. One could easily make an argument for San Fransisco as well. Statistically speaking, the higher on the list, the more people an ECNL club has access too. FC Prime in Miami should be killing it as well as Houston.
I think this just proves the theory of player development and coaching. |
It's just Girls' clubs with ECNL teams. RL or GA not considered since ECNL is the top league where the top players are. Baltimore and Philly included as to Los Angelos/San Diego. Tried to keep the amount of area covered by each kind of close. Beggers can't be choosers. |

There's also mega clubs that are actually made up of several smaller "clubs" funnel all their best players into one team. The top team is usually funded (aka free).
https://www.nationalssoccer.com Nationals is the largest travel soccer club in Michigan with over 3,200 players on over 280 premier/select teams. In addition, there are over 1,500 youth ages 4-10 participating in our recreational programs in Junior Nationals and United Soccer League. Our operations span Southeast Michigan and Mid-Michigan in 15 locations, attracting players from at least 9 counties (Bay, Clinton, Genesee, Ingham, Macomb, Midland, Oakland, Saginaw, St Clair, Wayne). |

You're discussing things and consolidations that are totally out of your control.
Control what you can control and put your kid in the best situation to be seen and succeed on a national level. There's really only one option. |

I don't understand your 'older team' analysis. NOVA clubs make up 1/3 of the Mid Atlantic. They hold 1.5 of the 1.5 06/07 spots, 1 of the 4 2008 spots, and 2 of the 4 2009 spots. Overall, that's 4.5 spots out of 9.5 available, or almost half the spots. |
When put like that, batting .500 is pretty good IMO. |
Thanks for compiling all of that! |
This, the analysis and the numbers, for how many DMV kids actually playing in college/grade, 1 or 2. |
Not important to the girls side. Almost no Latinas. |
Top 2 teams go, no? |
