Poor you is SO confused!!! You’re just trying to feel superior, but you are failing.

| It’s less expensive and has tasty snacks and bread. |
Are you going to explain how the non-frozen items and TJ branded seasonal items are different from the non-frozen items and brand name seasonal items at other grocery stores are different, or not? |
Someone this week posted about having a receipt thrown in her face at Safeway. Trader Joe’s would never! |
|
I go about once a month for "TJ stuff" , like their excellent vegan fish fillets. I get 90% of my groceries from Safeway.
I think they are opening a new one in Rockville Town Center. |
| I've never used them for regular shopping. They definitely do have some items I love that I can't get elsewhere but I only go if I'm in the general area. |
|
I go to 5 different stores for different things. It's fine for the things I buy there.
I don't get whole Foods unless I need a fancy cake. Safeway and Giant sell mostly chemical crap. I only pick up few thing that are on sale. |
NP- same thing jumped out at me. So OP doesn't want to buy frozen. Even though frozen food literally revolutionized food availability in this country, including fruit and vegetable availability. Let's knock that category out. They couldn't fill up their basket because everything expires so quickly? Like you looked at a pack of dried cranberries or cashews and they expired, what, next week? Everything expired in a few days or even a few weeks at your TJs? So you couldn't possibly buy anything? If so, you should name the TJ here. I'm sure the store manager would like to be aware of this. |
Have you been to a TJs? They carry different seasonal stuff than Giant. As in, you cannot get it at Giant. I don't personally care enough to go all the way to my nearest TJs but this is a bizarre question. |
Did you notice that all the cage free eggs are gone, or was that just my store this week? |
|
They sell other brands under their label for much better prices.
Their hair and skin products are incredible. Occasionally they have high level items like linen aprons, wool dryer balls, Swedish dishcloths, for a fraction of price elsewhere. Their vegan items are fantastic and I can’t find most of them anywhere else. |
| Op here. I was referencing for example the pumpkin loaves and donut holes. The sour cream donuts my kids like are a seasonal item. The breakfast pastry type goods tend to expire within a day or two at my local TJs. I am not sure if this is a one off but I do believe stores like Costco, Giant, etc.. have a few extra days on their labels in my experience. |
Are the vegan fish fillets in freezer? I’ve never tried those but would like to |
DP. It's cheaper. |
| I don’t get it either. I specifically do not understand how people like their frozen prepared food. Every single one I’ve tried is so salty as to be inedible. I don’t understand how people can’t taste the sodium. |
