Anyone a fan of the negroni cocktail?

Yum. So good but also my weakness.

I like the bitter liquors- Campari and Aperol cocktails

I love a plain ol’ Campari and soda before dinner. I am secretly a 70yo woman living in Boca Raton.

If you sort of chug the first, the second is smooth sailing.

I like it but prefer an old fashion.

Try a black manhattan

We live near a cute Italian place with a nice shady patio. I always get a couple when we go there. Its perfect. Coffee is bitter in a similar way. What’s not to like?

Nope. It looks better than it tastes. It looks refreshing like a sangria but it’s not!

I like them but like many things, it's an aquired taste.

I like them, but can’t drink them due to the high alcohol content. I am drunk after half a glass.

I love them (and pretty much anything that’s bitter). If you like the flavor but not the alcohol, there a company that makes a “phony Negroni” that gets it pretty close.

I'm more in the aperol spritz camp so that helps with the alcohol content for me. I think it's sexist to say women don't like bitter things.

I just don't get it. It tastes like medicine.

It sounds like there was too much Campari in there. The vermouth type can play a role.
