+1. McGuire was actually one of the decent people in central office and left after McKnight and her cronies took over everything with their incompetence. She was reporting to Derek Turner at one point too, who was bad at every job they put him in. |
| Be careful who you attack, as Ms. McGuire's competence is rare in MCPS and is much needed. It's unfortunate that she is being cast in a negative light on the basis of actions that occurred while she was not in MCPS |
Her name is on both Resolutions. |
You do know we have documents with her name on them with dates on them, right? Stop living in an alternate reality. |
| Beware the Parent Coalition finger pointers. I have no idea Essie McGuires level of involvement in both issues mentioned, but given it's information provided by those lunatics, I imagine there's some missing information or twisted information involved. Parent Coalition likes to dig up whatever they think is "gotcha" type data on anyone and anything MCPS and then point it out, with no background or context. |
I agree with you and I feel like they are specifically targeting her for some unknown reason they are not stating. It's honestly bizarre to me. |
| These people are just busybody axe grinders. They always start these posts about MCPS insiders or how they're upset the county bought bocce equipment. |
Essie McGuire’s name on both BOE resolutions. |
We are not litigating the Parents Coalition here. You’re right in that we don’t know what extent she had in both issues, but the POINT is that she was involved in both issues, which neither she, Taylor or the BOE are acknowledging. Despite being asked directly multiple times by the County Council if employees involved in both issues still worked for the system. |
DP. That should be the point. We don't know, and people are speculating for their own reasons. |
No speculation. Essie Mcguire was in charge of operations at MCPS. High paying job. Her name was on both resolutions. Taylor lied that all employees in charge were gone. |
You’re skipping over the rest of my post where I pointed out that she, Taylor and MCPS lied by failing to acknowledge that Essie was involved in both contracts and MCPS denied that any current employees were involved in both instances. That is a blatant lie, since Essie was there then and she’s here now. |
| You don't know who was actually making the poor decisions, when those decisions were made, who was consulted, who may have been supportive or opposed, etc. Lots of speculation. |
We know who was paid $250,000 to be responsible for these decisions. No speculation at all. |
