It’s called education, not weird wiring…but you do you.

(Add enough Hellman’s mayonnaise so that the tuna is creamy, like a dip.)

And don’t worry, I would not feed this to my children (or eat it in front of them), but it was yummy and satisfying.

What is your guilty pleasure when you are hungry but not motivated to make a whole, healthy meal?

Why not? That’s kind of weird.

They are growing and developing lifetime eating habits, so for meals (not treats/special occasions), I serve them nutritious food.

I’m the same way, I have certain things I don’t eat in front of kids. Veggie burger with all the fixings is my treat!

You guys have got to be the most boring in the world if this is your walk on the wild side that your kids dare not see.

A quick sandwich of ham and potato chips, maybe a little butter if I'm feeling fancy.

I've never had that on chips, but it sounds good!

My go-to weird snack is cut up cheddar cheese and pickled pepperoncini or california (spicy) peppers. I take a bite of the pepper, a bite of the cheese.

I also love me some tatertots. I always bake them, but whenever I fry stuff, I save the oil at least one day to fry other stuff in. I made fried tater tots and omg I almost died. Amazing. Too much work for most nights though.

Eating cheese is something even the educated do. You don't need to hide it from people.

Only the OP mentioned her kids. I'm the nacho person and I eat them with my kids. They are absolutely a guilty pleasure. I go all out.

Most cheeses have a decent amount of salt, which is why they taste so good: salt and fat.

Same. Mine is ramen. The kids like it too. But it's a rare treat and we make sure we emphasize that. so much salt.
