I was hungry and had nothing immediately on hand for lunch, so I succumbed to my weak flesh and indulged in tuna eaten off of French Onion potato chips. 😋
(Add enough Hellman’s mayonnaise so that the tuna is creamy, like a dip.) And don’t worry, I would not feed this to my children (or eat it in front of them), but it was yummy and satisfying. What is your guilty pleasure when you are hungry but not motivated to make a whole, healthy meal? |
Tater Tots
Tuna (with mayo) is also good with pineapple tidbits mixed in!
Why not? That’s kind of weird. |
I slice up cheddar cheese and dip it in ranch.
Really good nachos.
Just cheese. A hunk of it. If we have apples then with an apple or two. Otherwise just a big ol chunk of cheese with a drooling lab at my feet.
They are growing and developing lifetime eating habits, so for meals (not treats/special occasions), I serve them nutritious food. |
Spoonfuls of nutella
Cheese and crackers. Like, a lot.
Like PP above, cheese and crackers. I love the buttery Club crackers. I also love potato chips and Helluvagood dip.
Cheese & crackers
I usually just have cereal.
I bought frozen fried clams from Whole Foods and yesterday had half a box of those with mozzarella sticks from TJ's for lunch.
Y'all are neurotic. Nothing on this list is the sort of thing that needs to be hidden from children. Your snacks sound tasty, and I'm sorry you have some weird wiring that makes you feel guilty for eating food.
