Babson is business only. There is an earnings (outcome) component to the WSJ rankings and Babson does well. However, if you compare it to other business schools only (e.g. Wharton), it doesn't look nearly as good. The bottom line is the WSJ does not account for majors, which skews the results.

Grouping Babson, MIT, Davidson, Berkeley, Princeton, and Claremont McKenna on any kind of list is the most random thing. Clearly, the WSJ has no intention of trying to replace US News. An absolute useless ranking.

Both are useless. They largely serve to reduce perceived choice and drive up costs.
