I am almost convinced that is a false flag poster from curie trying to get people to look into their program. The posts are so outrageously racist and stupid that it must be caricature.

arent you the one who keeps bringing up Curie with your concocted story with test bank, newspaper ad?

That's factual and a matter of public record. The concoction is from those who like to pretend it never happened.

In your hallucinated world, every illusion must be appearing factual and a matter of public record, as you are repeating the cooked up story of test buying for years without a smidgen of proof.

It's amazing that this post also has turned into the same old tired arguments.

I'm convinced some posters resent low-income students getting into TJ and preferred it when only a few wealthy feeders were represented.

There you are. I knew you'd show up.

TJ is 80.9 % minority students.

This means the people trying to destroy TJ are really just racist bigots who want to ruin opportunities for minority children.

Think long and hard about just who these anti-TJ really are.

My suggestion here is simple: it is not these MAGAs everyone tries to blame. We don’t even have MAGAs here, at least not in any meaningful number and not in any meaningful voting number.

If it is not the magas, then . . .

Its a weird combination. Marxism and white supremacy. But that's what you get when white people feel oppressed.

It was entirely predictable.

Start a thread of TJ football and this will be the topic.

Start a thread about the TJ mascot and this will be the topic.

Start a thread about bullying at TJ and this will be the topic.

It doesn't matter what it is. This is the only topic about TJ worth discussing.

Master troll floods every discussion thread with these words and anti-asian remarks.

I know test buying was a feature. A lot of families loved this.

I feel like Jeff needs to maybe start locking each thread that degenerates into the same talking points to try to shut this down. Or deleting the replies that go off topic to vent about the process and new attendee mix.

No one can talk about anything at all on TJ without the same posters posting their exact same annoying complaints back and forth at each other. I think it is only a couple people but they poison every thread.

To OP’s question, I post on the TJ threads a fair bit - I’m a mom of a kid there who is class of 2026 and never paid it much attention until she went. It’s been wonderful for a kid who was always a little lost socially and bored academically though so now I’m a big fan of it for the right type of kid. FWIW I doubt my other kid will want to go nor be a great fit for it - I definitely believe it’s not the right choice for everyone but is amazing to have the option for some.

This is actually hillarious 😆.
A freshman mom here (aka, some kind of troll) and regardless of the controversy I see TJ is still a very impressive school.

The C4TJ types label anyone who disagrees with their regressive agenda a troll.

We are from one of the academically popular feeders and DC is glad to see many of their friends at TJ.
