Acadia will be empty which is nice. It will be cold and dark and no leaves.

CT may have some nice leaves in late October. It’s amazing in VT today.

So DCUM.

What is?

That’s going to be too late to see any color. Northern CT is at peak right now. Coastal CT and RI will probably be at peak this coming weekend.

There are the usual corn mazes, cider mills, pumpkin patches. Wineries, breweries if that is your thing. Some town historical societies do graveyard tours this time of year. Not sure if there are any harvest fairs or festivals that late in October.

Do you like art? History? Hiking?

I don't think it will be too late *any* color. Fall days can still be beautiful with some nice colors even after peak. The warmest parts of New England may be quite nice in 10ish days.

Honestly for end of October, I’d give up hope of leaf peeping and look for Halloween activities:Salem in particular but any old city will have haunted « whatever » tours.
