| Absolutely yes, cancel. Infrastructure cannot handle tourists |
| Your aunt is trying to get out of the trip. |
| West Palm is fine. There is no reason to cancel unless you want to. |
|
I don't understand the question. Is your aunt sick? Are there cognitive concerns? Maybe she just doesn't want to do the trip anymore? I'm very confused - what happened in West Palm Beach that would lead to canceling?
Clarification needed. |
| yes cancel |
| No reason to cancel unless your aunt wants to for other reasons. |
| Florida needs the tourism money. Go. |
| Depends if they get a hurricane in the next few weeks, but it wasn't affected by Helene or Milton. |
And yet parts of Florida are an international gay mecca. |
| Is she concerned about damage from Milton/Helene Or what is the context? West Palm Beach is fine. Parts of the county got damage from post-Milton tornadoes (Wellington) but West Palm was largely spared. Heck, you could go this weekend and it'd be fine. |
Despite all the likes the answer is that 80% plus of the country is fine with going to Florida for vacation. As another PP points out Locations in the state are gay destinations. Plus there are millions of blue voters there. |
I think you are in a bubble. I would put that number at like 95% or even 99%. |
| Plenty of gay people come to Florida. In fact I see more gay couples in Florida than I see in Rehoboth Beach. |
+1 Or GA, WV, etc. |
I'm happy to donate to blue candidates, but I have zero incentive to visit a place where the majority of voters hate women/LGBTQ kids. |
