Ooooh! You must be whyte and wealthy!

I’m neither, so one way or another, there will be an impact.

Best way to look at it.

But the worldwide economic collapse is still happening. No stopping that at this point.

Most people would think it's tacky to plan to celebrate that night.

Hadn't thought about it but probably something we can eat in front of the tv like pizza or a one bowl dish like chili with fixings.

Lots of snacks to keep going.

We are two adults and a teen taking AP Gov, so, yeah.

Lots of junk food and adult beverages.

Same. One of those situations where I wish I could have my kid stay with a relative for a few days and then take some kind of medication that would make me near-catotonic until it's over. That this is going to happen on a Tuesday while my kid is still coming down off the Halloween high is unfortunate for all involved.

Not to mention daylight whatever it is called (Fall back one hour) that Sunday before election Tuesday. And work and school on Nov 6. Who decided not to give the day after election off? Bad call.

We will be returning to standard time.

Same. We have one teen doing AP Gov, and the other in college in International Affairs and Politics. He's coming home to vote that day! I have to plan for something they both like.

At this point you think everything people do differently than you is tacky.

Marking the historic day is not tacky in any way. There may be nothing to celebrate or deplore, since there might not be a winner that night. But people are understandably jittery, so whatever special comfort food they want to pick for dinner is certainly not tacky.

Goodness, what a moron you are.

A lot of MAGAs will be eating humble pie.

I agree with this which is why I am planning for several days of stress eating.

Ina Garten does.

I will be fasting.
