Dilute acv rinse or add acv to your conditioner. Then be sure to switch products now and again. I had a year of this early peri. A scalp massage tool while shampooing can also help. Really go over your entire scalp well for a few minutes. You could try switching up conditioning in shower to using a light leave in mostly on the ends. Try to go a few days between washes.

The dermatologist sounds like a good idea.

Take probiotics too.
Sometimes you need them after you’re sick to reset your gut biome

You had this in early peri, what do you mean by this? A strangely smelly scalp? Did it end up going away?

I had a greasy stinky head a few years ago when my perimenopause began. Do not now. My BO and urine changed for awhile too. Everything had a stronger smell. Now it doesn’t. I cycle through different products occasionally as they can change effectiveness.

Yes, it got better. I use a manuka tea tree and honey body wash which helps and as I said before a light clarifying shampoo. Occasionally acv rinse. Don’t wash hair as often and brush well daily.

Thanks! I've upped my hair washing game I think that is helping.
