Blake lively turning off comments on her insta

Anonymous
Probably should’ve shut down the comments a few years ago. The comments are a cesspool, they are not a “community.”

The comments ARE social. Turning them off just implies you are so hated you can’t engage. If that’s the case don’t use social media, use paid media (an ad) to advertise your products but don’t use social. OR better still do some rehabilitative social that would help you. I can think of a million things she could do right now that would be deserving of good engagement.

I say this as someone who works in PR and social media. It’s literally doubling down on all the things that made people dislike her.
Either come back to social and engage or don’t come back. Side note what does this say about Ryan r’s marketing firm that no one is telling him this?

Yeah, but she doesn't need anyone to like her. Aren't they worth billions at this point? She can afford the risk of nobody liking her. If she doesn't want to work in the business, she can get involved with charities and after enough years, nobody will be throwing endless criticism at someone throwing big money at programs that help society unless she chooses corrupt charities.

What am I missing? What happened with her?

People are finally realizing she’s a total B.

There was a ton of drama around her summer movie It Ends With Us. She had a pretty public feud with her costar and director and a lot of rumors were flying around them both. At the end of the day sounds like they both contributed to the issues but he is pretty well liked in the industry and it sort of opened up the floodgates for bad press from her. She didn’t help things by promoting the movie all wrong - as a rom com when it was about domestic violence, and she shilled her alcohol line and hair products alongside the promotion which seemed tone deaf.

A few cringey past interviews surfaced too and then old stories about how the gossip girl cast and crew disliked her.

She knows she's not a good actor and she's aging out of the young woman roles, so she's been hustling hard for years for something to stick: lifestyle, cooking, no-alcohol drinks, alcoholic drinks, hair products

Seems pathetic. I never knew who she was until recently and wish I still didn’t know.

A video resurfaced where she and another actor ignore the interviewer and talk with each other—all because Blake didn’t like a question about costumes. Blake thought asking about costumes and what women wore in the movie was sexist.

Then she promoted her alcohol drinks during a movie about domestic violence.

Also she promoted the movie as if it were a rom com and told people to dress up. She appeared to be trying to copy Taylor Swift whose fans dressed up for her concert movie but — again — the movie It Ends With Us is about domestic violence!!

Why does her hair look so bad in the brand ads?

Anonymous wrote:Still cannot believe that she and Ryan promoted her alcohol brand during the movie premiere. Alcohol is the fuel of abuse! One of the drinks was apparently named "Ryle You Wait". Ryle is the name of the abuser in the movie... who thought that was a good idea 😭

Seriously?!

I’m convinced their whole relationship is very transactional and just a business deal like everything else in their life.

I am shocked to see her advertising her hair care line again though, I thought that was already done.

And four kids. Maybe more to come.

If you were good at your job you’d know she doesn’t actually need to be doing all of this stuff.

I find that hard to believe. I have no doubt that this line of products is nothing special and is no better than the 100 other less expensive products you can grab at any drug store but if people’s hair is falling out after a few uses? That doesn’t seem right.
