What are you preparing for possible celebration on Election Night?

Don’t you mean a third Trump victory?

I’m making masala dosa with all the works if everything goes right.

Can someone spell out what is meant by posters saying it will be an early night?

I'm torn between two issues so no matter who wins there will be something to celebrate (and mourn).

What are you expecting?

As I looked around the restaurant, I realized there were alcoholic beverages at every table I could see. At lunchtime on a Wednesday. Everyone was somber and speaking in hushed tones.

I’m not planning a damn thing, but if Harris wins, I will be thanking God as a sense of relief washes over me.

I am opposite. I will feel relief if Trump wins, total despair if Harris wins.

If Trump gets Virginia, it’s over.

And if you monitor VPAP.org, you will understand. Harris is doing extremely poorly as of now.

I am hoping Harris wins by a landslide. That will show the Electoral College stacking of red states didn’t matter.

What, because people in NoVa aren’t voting early? That’s what I’m seeing on their maps. But I never vote early - I have to drive out of my way and there’s always a line vs. when I go on Election Day to the elementary school within walking distance of my house and wait 5 minutes max. Curious as to why you think the Orange is going to win VA when he hasn’t won the state in either of his two previous appearances.

VIRGINIA: Blue counties CRATER in turnout while Trump counties surge - did not expect this!

TURNOUT VERSUS WEEK 1, 2020:
Strong Trump Counties +23.5%
Weak Trump Counties +20%
Competitive Counties +3%
Weak Harris Counties -9%
Strong Harris Counties -19%

The correlation is insane and evident. If this energy is reproduced in the other battlegrounds - we'll be heading to bed early.

In 2016, when the first polls closed and they announced that Virginia was too close to call. I knew.

it’s mainly because Virginia conservatives are now urging people to vote early.

Are liberals urging their voters to delay?

What explains the -19% decrease in Strong Harris counties?

So.

Do we dare buy anything in advance?

Do we prep both ways, like the campaign parties?

WWYD?

Unless certain states are won unxpectedly like florida, the results of the election likely won't be known until the following Saturday.
