I like Joshua Jackson and Don Johnson and love the cruise ship setting so I'm going to check it out.

So I am watching this - and I keep thinking - there’s a twist coming - this isn’t real - the passengers don’t look real. Don Johnson is weirdly specific about heaven and hell. Joshua Jackson had a near death experience - and its a Ryan Murphy show - so I think a twist is coming. And if it isn’t - I will be disappointed. Because otherwise this is just not great.

I agree with this idea. Especially since it’s Ryan Murphy. Plus the name of the boat is Odyssey which seems to denote a long journey with lots of twists and turns.

I think it looks awful, but that’s how I feel about 911 and I’m still watching that, so I’ll probably give it a go. Sometimes utter trash is fun.

I've been watching this so far and like it overall. The acting is good and the story lines are no less ridiculous than any other show. I'd prefer that things move a little slower. For example, Tristan's mom collapses, gets a life changing medical diagnosis, and leaves the cruise to go shopping and doesn't return all in a few minutes. I don't mind everything resolving in one episode, but give it some time.

The modern design of the set is not my favorite. The medical center looks more like a space ship than an infirmary. Also I don't like the lighting and sometimes the camera work.

Your last paragraph is what makes me think the theories that there will be a big twist to the show are true. It looks way too surreal.

I think that's intentional, some comedic moments within the drama and I'm okay with that.

Did anyone watch last night?? Spoiler - they have a threesome! They remained clothed in the scene, but I'm kind of shocked that this would be portrayed on a network show at 9 pm.
