Is it extremely weird for an adult to not eat the crust part of a pizza slice?

I wish I could eat just the crust and the inch before it.

I think it's childish anytime. Doing it in a public setting is next level.

We call them “bones” too. I throw them on DH’s plate.

Not extremely weird or even weird.

I don't care about carbs but I leave my crusts about half the time if the are very hard to chew or if I'm not super hungry. It's often a reflection on the quality of the pizza crust itself.

What I find extremely weird is policing the eating habits of other people. Who even pays attention to something like this? I don't think about how other adults eat. It's none of my business.

It depends on the crust.

Is it seasoned or plain? Is it made to be devoured, or is it a handle for the pizza?

All crusts are not created equal.

Of all the things that adults do in public these days, leaving pizza crust on a plate isn't anywhere close to being "uncouth" in my opinion. What weird is making this a thing and posting on DCUM about it.

Just for you, OP:

If the crust is good, I'll eat it, if not, I won't. I don't consider pizza crusts to be any less "couth" than any other bit of leftover food on a plate. I just personally don't want to waste calories on a part of the meal that I won't really enjoy.

I know three men who do this because they are watching carbs.

Lol yes the formal pizza wedding dinner!

No, I just don't like the crust. Why would an adult not eating something they don't like be weird!

Wut? I don’t eat the crusts because I don’t like them. Sorry not sorry if that grosses you out.
