| Yikes, does she still wipe his tushy? |
| She dealt with infertility hence her fear of him having to go through the same. |

To answer your question OP, I do not think this is a common occurrence here. That being said, I know a number of coworkers and family friends who are 20 something females in the area. If he goes out and gets involved in any active group, he will find people close to his age.

Parents do care for what happens to their adult children's lives, more so if its a life altering situation. They don't have to interfere to fear. |
I mean, it is very unlikely he'll get pregnant |
+1. My MIL was very much like your cousin - when we met, I was 33 and my husband was 27. He wasn’t bothered by the fact that I am older and he was way more concerned about the immaturity of the younger women. The fact that I had a proven track record of being self-supporting probably helped too .

Hi OP,
Could you maybe go along on the dates with him, to check these older women out and offer advice to him? |
|
He may be oversharing on purpose to activate his overbearing mother. If that's not the case, he should limit what he tells her.
Oh, and OP is the mother. |
If they are looking for younger men, then they are irresponsible and just working a scam, or floozies. A woman should always marry a few years older than themselves (5-20 years) to get a mature man who will be responsible. An older woman and a younger man spells disaster, as she hits the wall just as he is starting to peak in looks and he will leave her. |
What’s uncommon is him supposedly thinking or telling you any of this. Troll |
|
What a concerned 25 yo clerk who has time to date even.
Fascinating |
Op the mother the godmother whatever are all Trolls. This is beyond lame. The scenario and the question |
It's not a "thing" in law firms here. I worked in two for decades. |
