Depends on what you mean by “investing.” I always maxed out my retirement accounts - since my mid 20s. I didn’t open a brokerage account until my mid 40s, though. I retired in my early 50s with less than I have now. The market has been good for a while and we all know how well real estate has been doing.

I'm worth 4m too. the house was 650K when we purchased it and now, due to Missing Middle, it's worth 1.2 (or the land is). Anyway, I'm married so mabye I"m only worth 1/2 tht.
