Congratulations! Interesting responses on this thread. Everyone condescendingly applauds posts where someone hits the $1M mark. They are 'down there'. But when it comes to higher numbers, most are either jealous or insecure and react negatively. Classic DCUM. |

I am a regular DCUM Money and Finance poster. This thread has no purpose whatsoever other than to brag. That is why you see these responses. Generally, at least, people who mainly want to brag wrap it up in some sort of discussion. I have 8M and here how I got there, sort of thing, or something. |

I was just teasing We (DH & I combined) are not too far behind that - but I'm in my 50s and my husband and I had 'regular income' jobs - so if the OP (and her/his partner?) are high earners I can see how that networth is so high. Or perhaps inheritance. Who knows. Or maybe this is networth for just the OP alone? One of my best friends was a very high earner and diligent saver/investor - and she has that amount, or perhaps more. So it can be done. |
