| Ugh, neither! Total greasefest...try Cashion's Eat Place in Adams Morgan for nouvelle Southern. My personal favorite for Sunday brunch is Tabard Inn. |
| How about Acadiana? |
OP here. Arcadian offers cajun cuisine and -- how can I put this? -- in some areas of the South, cajun is considered a foreign country! Sure, there are sub-groups and regional variations of Southern cooking, such as cajun and low country and soul food, but cajun is not what I'm looking for. The soul food served by Florida Avenue Grill looks very appealing, and I am thinking of going there. The only issue is that, at a casual place like that, our party of four would ben increased by the addition of four kids to become a party of eight, and I udnertsand there are only booths that seat four max. Slight problem, as it's not as much fun to be seated at different tables, 'though I could see a table of 4 adults and a table of 4 kids . . . . |
