How often does your spouse travel for the weekend/week for guys' trips

Once a year. Usually 3-4 nights. He travels a lot for work. Would probably do more friend trips if not.

Two to four times a year. In his late 40’s and still keeps up with a huge group of good friends from middle and high school. I love that he has friends. I also do my own thing two to four times a year.

On average 2 times a year. They have a set yearly 3 day trip and then usually will plan a 3-4 day golf trip once a year.


I probably do 3 3-4 day trips with friends on my own.

He used to do it once or twice a year but once he retired I think he got tired of the travel and late nights. Also, Covid stopped it for two years and I think that dampened his enthusiasm as he didn’t really miss it.

Not in years! But twice a year he will take one of our daughters (both married) on a three day trip to their choice of destination. I help with the grandkids so that the SILs don’t complain. They have a great time and my daughters always joke that people think they are out with their sugar daddy.

Almost never. And i wish he would go more with friends. But he does go to conferences on weekends 2ce a year at least and gets some networking in.

Last year I went to Bermuda with my dad and since it’s a pretty dressy place I glammed it up a bit and people were definitely looking at us. He’s very good looking and pretty fit so we made quite a “couple.” He was very happy he didn’t run into anyone he knew!

I have about the same time I take with girlfriends, maybe one weekend away, plus various Saturday or Sunday sports activities where we alternate with the kids. Neither of us are big on nights out.
