How often does your spouse travel for the weekend/week for guys' trips

Maybe once a year for a “guy’s trip”, and 2-3 times a year for a work trip.
He sees his friends socially about once or twice a month. More in the summer because of golf. |

| Since age 45, a lot. Probably 2-4 trips a year. Usually a long weekend of 3-5 nights. I don’t mind, we have just one kid and I work from home and handle most household stuff regardless so it doesn’t change my life. |

Spring camping trip for 4 days. Same group has been doing it since college - 25 years. $150 per person.
Fall golf trip. Smaller - usually 6-8 guys for long weekend. More expensive bc of flights/hotel/golf but I think around $1500. I think 2x per year is reasonable. More than that and I’d be worried about cost. |

| Now that we no longer have infants we each do at least one friends trip a year. Usually not more than that since we also try to do one couple trip a year as well. Plus DH travels for work about once a quarter as well. So between those plus family trips we have a lot of travel to do during the year! |
