| I think she was hit because the car had front end damage and a witness saw being pulled into the car. |
But why was asha out there in the first place? |
That’s the bigger question. I doubt we will ever know. |
My guess is that the cops know why and it probably has to do with her parents being super strict and religious but it’s not relevant in that they didn’t harm her and who wants to pour salt in the wound of a grieving parent. I’m sure they would have found evidence if she was being harmed by a family member. |
| I don't understand how so many people could see a child walking out at night and not call the police. |
One truck driver did but she was gone by the time they checked |
This was also in 2000 when cell phones weren't as ubiquitous as they are now. |
How would the cops know this? |
Very true. I got my first one in 1998 and I was one of the first of my friends to have one. |
When a child goes missing, don’t you think a good detective would find out about the homelife? They’ve had 20 years to investigate this family. |
+1. Weird question |

They haven’t found her yet, but it seems like they’re very close to solving this case. |
One of those daughter’s is going to crack. It may happen sooner than later, because the father is quite sick and might die. |
| So the working theory seems to be that one of the teenage daughters was driving her parents’ car in the middle of the night, hit Asha by accident, panicked and her parents covered it up? Why were any of these kids out in the middle of the night with no adults?? |
