Shall be great fun when the coach realizes he is 3 players short because they played the earlier game and kids weren’t rostered are at home

No one ever enforces these rules. Same thing with MLS Next.

It’s enforced in girls ECNL. Players do not play two games in a day.

I love this rule.. and when can tournaments stop having more than one game per day? Its stupid to see HS kids play like this..

I don't understand your comment. Most HS age tournaments only play one game in a day.

To be fair, most HS-age showcase events are one game per day (as opposed to tournaments where you may only play one game per day but may you also play two games per day - OBGC last weekend was a good example, even in the oldest age groups).

ECNL RL allows players to play in multiple games in a day. However; the new electronic carding system does not. Players must have hard copy card as well. This will change next year, 1 game per match day.

It says in the rules that it’s already not allowed. I’m assume that means it’s just not enforced at the RL level.

Especially back to back games

Online checkin didn’t prevent. Kids literally finished the previous game and got right back on the field.
