Weight gain conundrum

OP, I'm a fellow string bean. For the past year, I've been focusing on trying to build muscle. My diet has always been good, but I've had to make a point of trying to eat bigger portions with added protein at each meal. I'm lifting heavy (for me) in the gym to try to pack on a bit of mass. The progress is painfully slow, but even if the scale hasn't moved much, I'm feeling stronger and think that my body has recomposed a bit. Looking to fend off osteoporosis and keep my strength as I age!
