I'd skip the Madurodam. Maybe good for kids (above age 3 -- it was not interesting for my 2 year old). Expensive and a waste of time for us adults.

Loved the art museum in The Hague, even more than Rijksmuseum, called Mauritshaus. Much less crowded, and felt more intimate in the little rooms. Lots of Rembrandts, etc. Nice little cafe too.

remember going to see a concert and walking back over the canals all lit up. can't remember the name of the theater but it was really lovely...
