What's for dinner tonight

I made carnitas yesterday for a dinner party, and have leftovers. I’ll make carnitas and black bean nachos for DH and DS, and put out the leftover salsa, guacamole, shredded cabbage, chopped tomato/onion, and rice. I’ll have a rice bowl.

I love all the adjectives. Is this what you all tell your kids when you serve them?

I am not entirely sure yet. I need to go to Costco for some other things, and it might just be pizza. Yes, I know it's terrible, but it is cheap.

Don’t feel bad, we’re a meatloaf family too. I’m one of those people who feel that food has “seasons” so I don’t make it often in the summer.

Me too but I do feel slightly bad about it. Served with defrosted meatballs, defrosted broccoli, and grapes. My husband upon arriving home after I produced this 15 min dinner for hungry kids: “is that all there is?”
