August 24 SAT

It wasn't curved this spring. My kid got 1 wrong in May and a 790.

My daughter apparently studied with a YouTube video called ‘the hardest possible math questions on the digital SAT.’ And then 5 of those were in today’s test at the end. I would have more details but she talked to me for 30 seconds and then left for the beach.

My daughter thought it easier than March. She scored a 1450 back then and had struggled on one verbal section. There were a bunch of administrative issues during today’s test and as a result it was delayed an hour.

How do you know how many your kid got wrong?

This seems super problematic....

My DS had a kid arrive 10 or so minutes after he started the test. The poor kid. DS said the registration was a disaster and took almost an hour for him to get from the front door to his seat. It’s not his home school and first time taking SAT so not sure how common these administrative errors are. Seems crazy!

It’s on the score report. It tells you how many wrong and in what sections.

Same here. Son did report he was able to finish all sections, which has sometimes been an issue with practice tests.

It's end of summer. Give her sunscreen and let her have her fun. You can talk to her more later.

Why are you doing this to your child?

You and she should google which schools require this. It’s very few of note. Georgetown, Penn, Howard, Cornell, Colgate and a bunch of random schools she’s probably not considering.

DS was not thrilled, thought it was tough and possibly several wrong in each section. Is what it is, there’s always TO or the UCs

Why is a kid that is in the first month of 10th grade taking the SAT at all? Wait until next summer before 11th or fall of 11th for her first attempt, PP.

Agreed. No wonder your kid struggled. Poor kid. You need to majorly chill out.

Mine said it was "eh"

His location also had administrative issues and started 45 minutes late. Was hoping for a one and done. But sounds like another test is in the future.
