Because you're restricting too much. Stop dieting, OP.
Eat a little less with small, sustainable changes. Think: dressing on the side, not drinking your calories, doubling up the vegetables, taking the stairs, parking far away, etc. You need to make changes that you can do forever - or at least 6 days/week. You may lose weight at a snail's pace... but that's the sustainable way. |
Sorry if unclear, I’m a male.
|
Which is where intermittent fasting comes in, at least for me. You get used to skipping breakfast really fast. Then the two remaining meals of the day can be filling, even if they’re lower than your maintenance calorie range. |
It’s actually really hard when you are leaning to eat 1200 cal a day to lose a lb a month |
Are you trying to run?
What is your workout? |
Either you're not counting your calories correctly and honestly, or you're already so small that you're body *shouldn't* lose weight. No one who's overweight eating 1200 calories a day is unable to lose weight. Unless they're doing that 6 days a week, and eating 6,000 calories on the 7th. |
I’m On WW I’m allocated 19 points which is essentially 1200 calories to lose weight and I am losing weight 1 lb a month so wahoo down 9 lbs since January. Yes when you turn 50 you must restrict to 1200 or less to lose and 1500 to maintain. OP is male and getting to 50 1800 calories is not a lot for a man it is hard. You’ll get it when you hit menopause and you’ll be like dang I was an ass about how easy it is on you sub 40 body. |
True, if I'm hungry at night I will lose - 56 yo. |
Your calorie intake is too high. For an average woman, 1200 calories to lose weight, 1300-1400 to maintain. |
OP is a man, he needs more |
PP here, and I'm 45. I still stand by my statement that you're eating more than you think. Grazing, snacking, drinking your calories, over indulging on a cheat day, etc. fyi I eat about 2000-2200 calories a day at 5'3" (to maintain after having lost weight). But I'm active, and burn about 700 calories/day in exercise. |
Are you close to having abs? |
I have a visible 4 pack (unless there's a food baby in there lol). I'll never have a 6-pack due to loose skin from weightloss. |
Try making sure you're having carbs before your workout. Also try working out with some caffeine or electrolytes. This will help you with keeping up the intensity of your workouts when dieting. |
Nope. Your karma will come short stuff and then you can think of me. |
