"We" who? Is your kid under 18? |
+1 he has to get the vaccine or leave |

The research from Vanderbilt University found theological opposition to vaccination only within the Dutch Reformed Church, Christian Scientists, and a handful of faith-healing denominations (Faith Assembly, Faith Tabernacle, the Church of the First Born, and the Endtime Ministries). But even within these groups there is not universal opposition to being vaccinated. Some members of Dutch Reformed Congregations may decline vaccinations because they interfere with divine providence, but others may accept vaccinations as a gift from God to be used with gratitude. The Church of Christ, Scientist, for its part, teaches that disease can be prevented or cured by focused prayer, but there are no strict rules against vaccination. The founder of the Church, Mary Baker Eddy, stated that “[r]ather than quarrel over vaccination, I recommend, if the law demand, that an individual submit to this process, that he obey the law, and then appeal to the gospel to save him from bad physical results.”

Yes, absolutely. Your religion isn't valid in terms of public health and what your germy offspring might expose others to. |
Oh gosh. I love the bolded. If you pray hard enough God will suck that vaccine autism right back out of your system! Just like the Crow does with Darla's morphine and says "Morphine is bad for you" |
+1 you clearly don't have a religious reason, you just suck |
Yes they are Why should they allow your kid near mine? |
| Antivax troll of stupid |
| Healthy Hokies Portal? That name alone would keep me away from the school. |
it is a cute way of saying there is nothing in our religion that forbids it so follow the law like a normal person |
And that's idiotic. |
Yes! |
+1000 If it's meningitis, who would not want their kids to get it?!?!? It's an illness that often looks like the flu and ERs are known for sending kids home. Except if it's actually meningitis it can go from "moderate" to the kid is dead or severely permanently injured in 24-36 hours. All 3 of my kids got the Men B before heading to college. When living in dorms, you are more likely to end up with something like that. |
