facial sunscreens

ROC am moisturizer with spf 30. Best I’ve used and even when I sweat I haven’t had it burn when it gets in my eyes. I’ve loved other ones but the issue was always it getting into my eyes when sweating which is obviously an issue when you are outside in the heat.

Now I like Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Moisturizing Face Serum with Vitamin E & SPF 60. Very sheer and also doesn’t hurt my eyes. Much cheaper too.

I also keep a small stick in my purse for reapplication. Love this one: Abib Airy Sunstick Smoothing Bar SPF50.

Is this a moisturizer too? I like using a combo instead of 2 separate products.

If it is, I wonder if it is a good replacement for the now discontinued Health Defense SPF 50 moisturizer.

Mineral Sunscreen. There are some chalky ones and a LOT of good ones. It doesn;t necessarily correlate to price. Do you really want your sunscreen in your bloodstream?

I like Elta MD, but only seem to be able to find it online so I don’t buy it as often as a sunscreen I can get in a store.

I have read good things about LaRoche Posay’s hydra line.

What facial sunscreen do you like best? And do you wear a different one daily under makeup / to work vs to the pool/beach?

Bluemercury has EltaMD and if you set up an account, they have great periodic sales OP. I buy their mineral sunscreen. I also by the Odacite mineral drops serum from them--pricey, but great too.

We used Sun Bum clear for face. It blended in really well.

The Unseen Sunscreen and the Trader Joe’s dupe make me break out so I try and stay away from silicone.

Jan Marini sunscreen has been my favorite. Creamy and doesn’t give me that chalky feeling. I wear it daily.

If OP is looking for options from brick and mortar stores, La Roche Posay sunscreens work pretty well and are sold at Target.
