I wouldn’t put teens in a Tesla for multiple reasons. Have you considered a hybrid Toyota RAV4 or Honda CRV instead of the Mazda?

I would love a hybrid sedan but there are almost none near us for a good price. No on SUVs for size issues.

I don’t understand the size issue. Neither of those vehicles are bigger than a Tesla. Our 5 foot tall DD drove a RAV4 through high school and college. Carmax has delivery options if you see a hybrid sedan somewhere else and want it brought to you.
