Fake names on apps

I am a woman who uses a fake name. Even just my first name, which is common amongst my age group, plus my career (very niche) will show up first or second in a google search.

I tell them pretty early on, after I decided they are not creeps.

Doesn’t bother me. I think most people use fake names on apps. Adds a layer of privacy until you are ready to meet.
