Ugh that always gave me diarrhea.

Same here! I’m certainly not under the impression I’m eating anything close to real Italian food but man is it tasty.

Agreed. I like their salad.

My mom loves OG and I take her every now and then. I ordered the lunch lasagna and it was so so salty!

Yes! It's totally fine, most people just act like snobs.

I love OG. Zuppa Toscana is amazing. Their breadsticks are not as good as the garlic toast in Ikea. Entees are great.

I have yet to find an Italian restaurant that I have liked better than OG.

We all like it but don’t go often. Their Alfredo is really good.

I've lived in three European countries. I've eaten plenty of "real" Italian food, in Italy.

And you know what?

I really like Olive Garden. When I'm visiting family in the US, I always like to go there.

There is a bizarre kind of snobbery re: Olive Garden that I don't understand. Sure, it is fashionable to sneer at it, but...I think it's really good. I'm going to be in the US for two weeks over Christmas, and I plan to go there more than once, and I have no shame.

I don’t turn up my nose at OG. I enjoyed eating at a Bravo! restaurant, which is also a chain.

I like the eggplant parmigiana

That minestrone soup is SO BAD. I could not even finish it and i’m generally not that picky about soup. Salty and mushy. Yuck.

SO MUCH SALT! Even the salad is salty.

If I couldn’t cook and didn’t have choices in my area, I would go to OG occasionally.

But I make excellent pasta dishes at home that are healthier and tastier, and I also live near several good Italian restaurants and can easily take a half day trip to the north end for some of the best Italian restaurants in the country.

So I didn’t cry when our local OG closed up shop and I haven’t been to one in many many years.

I do like the salad. Crappy lettuce but when you combine that dressing with a bunch of cheese, it is good.

Nothing else, is, though.

They are dry and tough.
