Strangest thing you’ve seen in an airport?

Anonymous
When we had an early flight out of Reagan National in May we were waiting at the gate and saw Nancy Pelosi walk by with an entourage. I'm not saying she's strange, but it was strange to see her. I was looking at my phone and DH said "That's Nancy Pelosi" and I looked up. I wouldn't have recognized her, she looked amazing tbh and was wearing super-high wedge heels.

I saw the same thing, by a gate. I think he was dead. It was so upsetting. I wonder how often that happens at airports.

A guy passed out or something at the gate when I was in the airport in Madrid waiting for a flight back to DC. He looked dead. Apparently he wasn't. But the really strange part? They asked if there was a doctor around and there was -- my psychiatrist, who happened to be on the same flight.

I had completely forgotten about the Hare Krishnas.

Unfortunately, that is not weird. It is common.

So sweet 🥹

I have an emotional support porcupine. Next time I'll let it out.

And not just in airports.

I was waiting at the international arrivals at Dulles when a regal African man came out and a group of people waiting in traditional clothes starting playing drums and instruments. It turns out he was a religious leader.

You can see some pretty odd stuff in terminal 2 at DXB. Late night flights, people with cre=ates full of live chickens they try to check.

We were on an international flight with a world body-builder champ. He took up 2 business class seats, wore a skimpy tank top and sweat pants (it was the tank top that looked out of place on an airplane in November). We only knew who he was because there was an article about him in the in-flight magazine

About ten falcons each tied to their own business class seat on Emirates flying from Dubai to NYC.
