Please tell me. My friend saw a line of prisoners walking with ankle cuffs in Heathrow.

I saw a bunch of army recruits standing at attention, presumably waiting for transport to basic training. They looked so young.

Saw a dog on a leash stop, squat, and pee right in a walkway. At least the owner cleaned it up right away, but it was still disconcerting to see.

A couple of penguins waiting for a fight. Their keeper let them out of their crate to waddle about.

Lucky it was just urine. After leaving the secure area in Miami, there was the overwhelming odor of poop on a ramp everyone was funneled through after immigration and customs. No attempts to clean it up. And I can’t confirm whether it was from a dog or human.

Not really strange, but sweet. 6 seeing-eye golden retrievers on a flight to Spain along with their owners. They were very well behaved, but you had to be careful walking to the bathroom in the low lit cabin. They were all sleeping 🩷 with legs stretched out. No accidents either!

I saw the same thing, by a gate. I think he was dead. It was so upsetting. I wonder how often that happens at airports.

In Narita airport I saw a guy in full-length black Islamic garb sitting and reading from an enormous book, at least 24 inches high, black with gold lettering and pages. He had nothing else with him. He was just sitting there reading and then several Japanese officers came and led him away. He made himself so conspicuous that I can't imagine he was actually going to do anything.

I long for the good old days when weird meant a bunch of hare krishnas banging tambourines and handing out free copies of the Bhagavad Gita (for a small donation that was never compulsory unless you wanted the book).
