how long did your baby wear Newborn size clothing?

Twins are usually so much smaller than singletons, so I think most of our experiences will not help.

My babies were both 9lbs, and 22inches so they never wore NB clothes. If you have twins that big, god help you, you will have bigger problems than clothes

7lb 10 oz, wore NB for about a month.
10lb 8oz, wore NB for two days.

As PPs are saying, your twins are likely to be on the smaller end of the spectrum, so you'll probably get more wear out of NB stuff than singleton moms would.

My twins were about 4.5 lbs each and they wore newborn clothes for more than 2 months. They wore 0-3 for a couple months then were in 3-6 months starting around 4 months.

7 1/2 lb boy wore them for about a week and a half. but since twins may be smaller, you may get more wear out of them. definitely keep the tags on as much stuff as you can stand. we have so many clothes that I washed that DS wore either never or once. you'll see once you have them that you'll get a ton of gifts of clothing too, so you may not need as much as you've bought.

Totally depends on the weight, length, body shape and the brand of clothing. Our first was a bit less than 6 pounds and 18 inches and on the thin side. Other than carters and petite bateau the newborn sizes were too big and actually lasted almost 3 months. Our second was a pound heavier, but but almost 23 inches - none of the footed NB sizes fit for more that a week or so but onsies and t-shirts lasted about 2 - 3 months.

My baby wore NB for three months. I was kind of annoyed that all his clothes were too big because I didn't buy that many newborn clothes because everyone said they are only in that size for a few weeks.

But it was okay, I guess because I didn't really buy that many clothes before the baby was born. But after he was born, I bought 0-3 thinking he wouldn't be in NB for too long.

7lbs 4oz 19 inches at birth and she wore NB for 2, 3 months.

Ds was 6lb and wore nb for about six weeks. I would definitely wash the nb clothes. We had almost none and had to scramble to get some. FWIW, I hated the zip pjs because the zipper got warped after a few washes. I much preferred the snaps.

My 7lb 10oz DD wore the NB size for 2-3 months. Luckily I received a few NB sized outfits because I only bought 0-3 month before she was born and she was swimming in them.

Mine didn't, he was born at 9 lbs 6 oz and didn't fit in newborn clothes or newborn diapers.
