I'm not an EA, but they get them by working their way up for 20 years and being available 24/7. Our CEO's EA is at 130k + bonus and stock. She works all the time and takes a lot of heat when the CEO is frustrated (even if it's not her fault). She only supports one person, but it's still more than a full time job. 100% in office for 45-50 hours a week, then nights and weekends at home. |
| Is she also your MIL who does everything wrong? Did you share a beach house with her and her kids ate all the bacon? Is she a Facebook friend who posted party photos to a party you weren't invited? Is she your SIL who smirked when you said Larlo didn't apply to UVA? Does she microwave lightly fired tuna in the office for lunch? |
She was frat girl good looking but now she’s cut her hair off and decided she’s a lesbian. Boss is also a lesbian. I think she’s playing everyone here. At the bar, she was talking with a guy |
You don't sound like a very good friend |
| I'm a C-suite EA and make $130,000. You simply have no idea how demanding the job is some days. On certain days when we have important meetings, I have to get up at 3:30 am to be in the office by 5:00 and don't get home until 10 or 11. You think you know what your friend is doing but clearly, they pay her well because there is a reason. If you think you can be a great EA and make that kind of money, no one is stopping you from applying. I'm constantly approached by recruiters because we are in such high demand. |
I think you're a troll. If not, you're a moron. |
How does one be a frat girl and not attend college |
| I am sorry but I can’t shake the feeling she’s finessing this relationship with the boss and she’s playing games about her sexuality crisis for the money. All her family and friends were shocked when she came out. It seems rather dubiously tied to this new job |
| You sound so pathetic OP. Your idiotic immaturity is also probably a big reason you don't make a lot of money. This feels like it was written by a teenager |
| My friend's mother was an EA for the CEO of a Fortune 500 company. When he moved to another company to be CEO, he took her along with him -- that was part of his contract negotiations that she could come and would be well taken care of. She was that good. |
You're a moron. |
| Here's a crazy idea, just stop being friends with her! You clearly don't like her and you have the inability to say no to her. So just end the friendship! |
|
You sound really gross OP. Not a good friend and not a good person even.
I'm an EA and I get paid extremely well. I'm hybrid and don't need to be in the office much. I get my work done and actually log off during my off hours (unless an actual emergency). Sounds like you are full of salty sour grapes and jealous of this person - who, let's be clear - is not a "friend" to you. |
|
I am an EA and its rough. Believe me, if she can't hack it she won't last. Endlessly available, not a lot of thank yous or recognition.
Just focus on yourself. If you want to try it, go for it. |
Same here. She is amazing and worth every penny! |
