Talk to your county council about Eastern. It's time now to get a replacement building.

MCPS is in over its head with Crown and Woodward HSes. Eastern is going to have to wait behind Damascus HS, Wootton HS, SIMS, and so many other crumbling schools in the system.

All because MCPS does not factor and budget for maintenance and building turnover.

Eastern MS parents, and parents from its feeder elementary schools, need to get organized. They are being outmaneuvered by well-organized parent communities on the west side of the county. And because of that, Eastern Middle School is being left to decay.
