What is a media day?

It's good practice for the players to sit for a professional career headshot, and I think Media Day arranged by the club is more equitable than each team's parents managing photos. It's either a chore or a passion for the team's parents, and it's hard to give feedback w/either scenario. Some have professional equipment or parents who can produce great brochures or websites, while others do their best on iPhones. The cost may be baked into your fees, but you will be asked to help cover the cost, whether it's a parent asking for reimbursement or a club providing the service.

This is so sad, but frankly true.
