I honestly think there are always a handful. Probably more than a handful as you move down the divisions

Even at the top divisions, IM often has bid-ins.

For example, looking at last year's results, it looks like D1 had a bid-in entry in both Girls 15-18 IM (three entries from Donaldson Run) and Girls 13-14 IM (three entries from Highlands).

What? We’ve been in D4 and always had handful of bid in spots.

I can see D1 and D2 not having any because their teams are huge and deep.

But back to original question. Kids know what they are swimming by now. Coaches talk to them on Monday and Tuesday. We sent entries to parents today to confirm. Our meeting is tomorrow for bid ins.

We are D5, found out entries yesterday. Bid ins were told to us today. The rep sent and email and there were quite a few of them.

I am PP that asked the Q, and I’m realizing I based my comment only on the age group(s) where my child swam, not across all age groups. Mea culpa, and honest gratitude for reminding me there are five age groups times two genders.

When do teams typically share the full division’s list of swimmers per event?

Some divisions have already released meet sheets. I guess it depends on when they meet to finalize bid ins.

Team rep in a mid tier division. We got the final meet sheets last night after the division meeting. We will get it out to our team today once I have a break from meetings.

Wednesday, Thursday or Friday depend on when the division has their meeting.

You can often see assignments in your app before you receive heat sheets/meet programs. My Swimtopia app lets me see my DCs' events long before even the meet roster is public, let alone the program. If you have the paid app, just favorite your swimmer, go to the meet in question (including Divisionals), choose "Events," and scroll down to look for stars that mark where your favorite is swimming. If you do this one at a time (turning the favorite on and off) you can check on any member of your team's roster if they are all programmed in.

Interesting. Our team doesn’t use an app like Swimtopia.

Does anyone from D1 have a heat sheet they are permitted to share? We aged up and I want to gently temper my child’s expectations. 🤣

There is a setting in SwimTopia that allows Coaches/Reps to set meet entries but not publish them to the team. Your Reps must not know how use that setting -- we don't publish our entries for A Meets until they are finalized and the email has gone out to our team.

Mid division team and still waiting for anything about the meet. Haven’t seen our teams entries nor the division entries. This year is the worst ever in terms of notifications for our team.
