Not sure why everyone is all about the 10 lanes. I guess that nice for B meets, but all other meets only use 6 lanes so the extra 4 are just for decoration. We had relay carnival there one year and I was not a fan. Sure the bathrooms are nice, but viewing is from the turn end so really had to see and kids were stuck sweating to death on the tennis courts. |
We loved the year we were in the same division as Cardinal hill. Beautiful facility and great snack bar. |
DP, but we had a meet at Rolling Hills a few years ago. The seating areas have lots of shade and are terraced, which give good views of the pool. Of other pools that we have been to, I agree with the comments that Arlington Forest is very nice (and has the best bathrooms). Great Falls also has a great facility with a ton of green space for team areas. We also liked Mansion House in Alexandria. |
CCRA is great. Also Kentlands. |
Start your own post. This is NVSL. |
+1. It is really nice, and a fast pool. |

Having 8 or 10 lanes will actually make the pool faster. Less pressure coming back off the swimmer from the walls. |
Burke Center Station. We were so sad when they moved to a different division. Their facility is beautiful and their people are really nice. |
Great falls is really nice! |
I have honestly been amazed by how disgusting some of the bathrooms are. |
This is about nicest. Go start your own thread. |
Mount Vernon Park Pool is incredible! |
Little Rocky Run has done a great job with divisionals in the past.
- Spectators can see while not actually being on the pool deck - Parking lot has plenty of space for the team areas - Pool is reasonable depth - Nice club house and bathrooms - Concessions were good Parking can be a bit of a challenge which is probably why they haven't hosted one of the big meets. |
LRR has hosted individual all-stars a couple of times that I know of. It was probably 8 years ago. We parked at Centreville HS. |
