| Isn’t he a little old to say something so stupid? |
| So what does he wear? |
YUP |
| Let me guess, he wears pleated dockers and a polo? Don’t take fashion advice from him. |
Tell him he’s too old to be your boyfriend.

| Wide legged jeans don't look good on almost nobody, regardless of age. Maybe that's the point he was making. Almost all the young people wearing them look awful. Unless you're 5'9" or taller and very thin, wide legged jeans are a bad choice. |
Disagree. I think they look okay on everyone (although best on the tall and skinny like most clothes) but they’re definitely comfortable on everyone! |
| There’s nothing classic about wide leg jeans which are unflattering on just about everyone. Switch to straight leg. Your husband is trying to politely tell you they aren’t working for you. Don’t be stubborn about it. |
| I think they look great paired with a slim top like a thin turtleneck or fitted tshirt. I wouldn't do the teen look and pair with a bulky sweater bc I'd look ridiculous, but I wear the former look all the time. |
| Old women have always worn wide legged jeans |
But she can wear what she wants. And if she likes it, so be it. |
| Pics? |
+1. But given the comment is out there, I’d get a second opinion. |
| My partner told me I was wearing "sailor pants" recently when I wore wide-legged jeans. I'm 58; thought they looked current personally. |
💯 F him. You’re 57 so you can wear whatever you damn well please! |
