Just wondering when January Florida showcase is so we can figure out trip to Europe! |
| The showcase dates are on the app. |
Only through December 2024. The 2025 dates haven't yet populated. |
With 5 kids in travel sports then you should already know that organizations are often late on getting schedules out. So yeah, breath and try to enjoy your summer. |
I guess you missed the whole, first year ECNL part of the original comment? I don't know that ECNL is late bc we've never done ECNL. But, I do know my other kids' sports get schedules out pretty far in advance, before tryouts in fact, which is the whole reason I am asking about ECNL. It's not at all helpful to have you tell me to breath and enjoy my summer; I don't know why are you even responding tbh. |
| You can ask your club for the schedule to plan. At our club, we had an ECNL parents meeting the week before girls headed to Seattle. The Director put up a slide showing the full year schedule. Your club has your schedule already. |
True, but was trying not to bother them while they had most of their teams going to Seattle and San Diego. So, I'd rather bother you fine people on DCUM! HAHA |
As idiotic as asking people on the internet about a health concern instead of going to the doctor. Jan showcase is 1/35 in Narnia. You're welcome. |
Nobody cares. Go back to your Arlington bubble |
Yeah, breath and enjoy summer. You want to know the schedule? EVERY WEEKEND is booked. If there is a 3 day weekend it will be filled with a tournament. Look at last years schedule for your clubs current U13 club. Look at the travel weekends and realize those clubs come to you this year and who you played home will now be away. There aren't many ECNL events at your age, so other than the actual travel the time commitment is similar to travel. The other thing to ask, and is not known and is club dependent is if your club does team travel or not. If the club rents a bus and travels together that adds cost but lessons some of your burden. But, as someone else pointed out, ask your coach for some blackout dates for travel since the clubs do have the dates and opponents now. The clubs work out the actual schedule of the day amongst each other and submit those to ECNL. But the original point stands, you have 5 kids in travel sports and ECNL is no different than any other league. Learn to relax now and be a little more easy going or the experience will chew you up in short order. |
OP literally just wants to know when the schedule comes out, sheesh. NO need for the lecture. |
Yeah, and when she was given an answer this was the response: "Sorry - OP here - I meant the final schedule (that is on the website). Thanks though!" Again, ECNL Finals aren't even over but this person needs to know the time and field NOW! In July. Yes, schedules for ECNL, just like other leagues come out in August. Take the travel dates if the club provides them and be thankful for that in early July |
OP here and actually, no, since you can't read, I don't need to know the schedule now. I was asking WHEN it's available, for planning purposes, not that it matters why I am asking. ("Question for the helpful ECNL pros from an ECNL newbie. Just wondering if anyone knows when the ECNL schedule generally comes out (boys) for the upcoming season? I") Agree with PP - sheesh is right. You really didn't need to respond, especially where there has already been a response or two provided about when the schedule generally comes out. You just enjoy being a jerk who tries to put people in their place. You failed. |
You really didn't need to ask such a needy question before the ECNL season has even concluded. ECNL is not for you. |
| ECNL seems to take forever in updating their site with new rosters and schedule but it seems to be happening now. New clubs are listed but rosters and schedules are not populated yet. |
