Showcases should drop next week once Nationals wraps. Final times and field locations for league game is not goinng to happen until well into August so take a breath and enjoy your summer
5 kids in travel sports. There is minimal taking a breath. I need those schedules so I can try to get my head right for the craziness of Fall! LOL!
With 5 kids in travel sports then you should already know that organizations are often late on getting schedules out. So yeah, breath and try to enjoy your summer.
I guess you missed the whole, first year ECNL part of the original comment? I don't know that ECNL is late bc we've never done ECNL. But, I do know my other kids' sports get schedules out pretty far in advance, before tryouts in fact, which is the whole reason I am asking about ECNL. It's not at all helpful to have you tell me to breath and enjoy my summer; I don't know why are you even responding tbh.
Yeah, breath and enjoy summer. You want to know the schedule? EVERY WEEKEND is booked. If there is a 3 day weekend it will be filled with a tournament. Look at last years schedule for your clubs current U13 club. Look at the travel weekends and realize those clubs come to you this year and who you played home will now be away. There aren't many ECNL events at your age, so other than the actual travel the time commitment is similar to travel. The other thing to ask, and is not known and is club dependent is if your club does team travel or not. If the club rents a bus and travels together that adds cost but lessons some of your burden. But, as someone else pointed out, ask your coach for some blackout dates for travel since the clubs do have the dates and opponents now. The clubs work out the actual schedule of the day amongst each other and submit those to ECNL. But the original point stands, you have 5 kids in travel sports and ECNL is no different than any other league. Learn to relax now and be a little more easy going or the experience will chew you up in short order.
OP literally just wants to know when the schedule comes out, sheesh. NO need for the lecture.
