Ann Leary's novels |
It’s a thriller but I’m loving Ruth Ware’s latest- “the perfect couple” and Lucy Foley’s midnight feast. Perfect couple is about a couples reality show that does very wrong on a deserted island. Characters are fun and it’s a page turner. |
+1 on Abby Jimenez. I just finished reading three of hers in a row! |
I like Emily Henry and really like Ali Hazelwood - especially Bride, which is a bit of a change for her. Will try Abby Jimenez. |
Completely agree. Book lovers was one of the worst books I’ve ever read. Love elin hilderbrand though Slightly different but easy reads- Lessons in chemistry Nora goes off script Just starting wedding people - I’ve heard good things |
Slightly off topic, but what Abby Jimenez books do you recommend? |

The Finlay Donovan books. They are hysterical. A single mom is accidentally a hitman in DC/MD. |
The opening scene where Finlay wraps duct tape around her kid's head? Constant sniping between Finlay and her ex? SO FUNNY! /s I loathed that first book. |
LOVE Wedding People!! |
I've loved all of EH (have read 8 or so) except for Golden Girl so far. I did not finish, characters were so awful. The Five Star Weekend was my favorite along with Hotel Nantucket. |
New poster here. I thought that opening scene about the duct tape on the kids hair in the Finlay Donovan book was very funny. I loved that first book. And the second and the third. Haven't read the subsequent books in the series yet but I plan to. Some people like books with humor. Some people don't. |
It get heavier, though, at least in my opinion. |
All of them. |
SAME! I didn't even finish it, and that's pretty rare for me. |
