Beach Reads

I’ve just read to very heavy memoirs, and would love a lighter and fun book for my upcoming beach trips. Any recommendations for a good summer read?

Sophie Kinsella is great for light rom-com. “I’ve Got Your Number” is my favorite by her. I also really like “Can You Keep a Secret?” and “The Undomestic Goddess”.

I'm reading Lies and Weddings by Kevin Kwan. Same author as Crazy Rich Asians. It's a fun, light read with over the top characters. Nice and breezy!

I've read a couple of books so far this summer that definitely fall into the beach read category:
Same Time Next Summer and Summer Romance both by Anabel Monaghan; Everyone is Beautiful and the Rom-Commers, both by Katherine Center; and Swan Song by Elin Hildebrand.

I'm reading The Good Part by Sophie Couse
ns right now. Light but definitely holding my attention. Plus, laugh-out-loud funny in parts - at least to me.

I LOVE Abby Jimenez. My favorite. I usually like Ali Hazelwood but her newest book “Not in Love” was not good. Recommend on of the earlier ones.

Everyone is beautiful was so good. Loved it the most out of this list (but have never read anything by Elin hildebrand)

"We Were Liars" and "Bad Summer People" are both good beach reads.

I love everything by Elin Hilderbrand, and I can’t finish anything by Emily Henry. Weird, right?
Not a particularly “beachy” read, but I just read First Lie Wins while at the beach and enjoyed it.

I liked first Lie wins A LOT, but I found it too suspensive for a beach read. I had a hard time putting it down and read it over the course of 24 hours. I found it very twisty and suspenseful in ways that worked for me.
