Same, and I went to Dr. Tina Alster for the laser hair removal. Did not work.

I use the Braun Silk Pro at home and it took 8 or so session every 5 days before i could go a week with zero growth. I assume another four weekly sessions will give me multiple months of hair free living. I do my full legs, bikini area and armpits in under 10 minutes (it took a bit of practice).

I have a lot of stress this time of year and the stubble is driving me out of my mind. I'm ready to just go get a wax. I can't stand the feel of it and can't believe I have another 4 months of nonstop stubble. I'm shaving multiple times a day, but it's hell. I didn't even think I was a hairy person before this.

Are you saying you started getting MORE growth after your laser appts?

Op here. I’m not getting more growth. But I could wax and only had to pluck stray hairs once a week. With shaving there’s stubble by the end of the day.

Im going to a place like laseraway. I am positive there hasn’t been any reduction whatsoever yet. I did notice that last time the strength went up. Maybe they started me on a low strength. The hair still smelled singed.

How much hair do you have on chin and upper lip? Do you have a hormone issue going on? PCOS?

I went to a very high end laser center in northwest that is known for their laser hair removal expertise though. I have had friends that went to medspas and saw very slow or no real long-term results compared to mine.

Which place is this and how do their prices compare?

Not the previous poster but they may be talking about about the Center for Laser Surgery. I went there for laser hair removal and my results were fantastic. Not the cheapest (also not the most expensive) but worth every penny given the results I got.
