overall thoughts on your kids high school graduation 2024?

The ceremony was very well done. The student speakers were good and the official speaker was excellent. I believe he was a Delegate. We were pleasantly surprised.


Yup, Vaughn was a delegate. Surprised he also survived cancer twice. What a lucky guy.

Lynne Harris was not specifically the speaker at any of the graduations. She was simply supposed to present the graduates as having earned their diplomas, etc.
She chose to go on and on. Someone should have told her knock it off.

we were at UMBC and I thought it was great.

In the future, they need to only have Principal and one other speaker. Maybe a SGA president but no other students either. Call the names and done. Keep the music.

Had a kid graduate at Blake. Was a great time at UMBC. Name caller was a bit loud though.

I liked them from watching that school’s graduation. It’s the same with one of the graduate roll callers from Northwood to make it more motivated.
